Anika Maheshwari is the sister of a reputed lawyer and the daughter of a respectable doctor. She has a loving family and an abundance of luxuries at her feet. Not really, though. In reality, Anika Maheshwari is just Anika, a girl from a small townhouse in Mumbai with a life full of hardships and a marriage of convenience. In technicality, she is still legally the wife of an arrogant businessman and the sister of a dead brother. But Anika knows nothing of this. All she remembers is being rescued from a burning house by one of the Maheshwaris and waking up to a new home which had apparently always been hers. However, when her forgotten past clashes into her convincing present, she's caught between the two. Now she must find out which life is truly hers, and rediscover herself along the way.
