No one thought the pairing would go through. Never in a million years did anyone think a Stark would end up marrying a Lannister, but it is going to happen. Ella Stark, the oldest Stark child (18 years of age, so one year older than Robb) is set to marry Tywin Lannister. Did you think I was going to say Tyrion or Jamie? Oh no no no! Jaime would never leave the King's Guard, and while Tyrion is a respectable man (besides his horrible habit of whorring), Tywin decided it would be best for him to marry again. It has been 32 years since his first wife, Joanna, died giving birth to Tyrion. Everyone in the kingdom, including the Lannister children, was shocked when it was announced that Tywin would remarry. Eddard Stark, Ella's father, was not pleased about having his daughter marry someone who is 46 years her senior, but he knew it had to be done if he wanted to keep peace between the Northen house and one of the richest houses in all of Westeros. A purely political marriage, with both parties not happy with the arrangement at all, is doomed to fail... right? I do not take credit for any of the characters except for Ella (and if I make anymore characters, I will be sure to put a disclamer that they are mine). All of the other characters belong to George R. R. Martin and the creators of the t.v. show. This book is based on the first season of the tv show Game of Thrones. So far, the only characters that are mine are Ella, Anna, and Shadow (Ella's direwolf). I do not own any of the other characters. This also means that this book is the first in the series that I am calling "A Game of Love". Not very original, I know.
