There is a superior race, a race that is far more advanced than the  human race. They're not aliens. They're not mutants. They're the Specials. 

The Specials were once human beings, but not after the Genesis got a  hold of them. It's not often you meet a person with super powers or special abilities, but when you live in the town of Beginnings Creek, anything can happen.

The Lockhart family is new to Beginnings Creek, and are more than ready to have a new beginning, but they can never escape their secrets. A secret is what killed Evelyn, Toby, and Lacy's parents. Secrets are what made the Lockhart family fall apart. Now orphans, Lacy, Toby, and Evelyn go live with their Grandfather, Granddad, in Beginnings Creek. 

New home, new guardian, new start. Evelyn and Lacy are determined to keep their special abilities at bay, and try to live a normal life, but the powers are a part of them and that, they can never change. But as soon as they meet: Skylar, the mysterious girl next door; Brad the gorgeous, but dangerous boy who's taken interest in Lacy since they first met; and Mason the brilliant, easy-going boy
who's captured Evelyn's heart.

The more time they spend with them and in the town of Beginnings Creek, the more it

Her twin brother found his a few weeks ago and Reagan's been dying to find her equal. What happens when she find out her mates the cold hearted Alpha that she's been told cruel stories about. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human.
