50 years ago on the planet Valanthia, the war had affected the peace of the five kingdoms and the "Other World"-- or lack thereof. Due to this, the Kingdom of Vivalexia incentivized magical schools to develop more students with magical prowess, to prepare them for the upcoming war.
After the war, the five kingdoms built a barrier that separated the Kingdoms and prevented the Other World citizens from entering. Going out from the Kingdom's territory was a warning, and anyone who dared to challenge it would not return home.
In the present day, Alora Ives has an unresolved conflict with herself and her best friend, after finding out that she can't develop her magic to the fullest potential, or lack thereof. However, after an encounter with the Red Hooded Woman, she began seeing things that she couldn't see and encountered giant beasts that she did not know of. After crossing paths with one of the king's successors, Prince Oran Eveland, the two began to find their purpose in crossing the barrier to protect their hometown from danger with other like-minded individuals. But at what cost?
