اصلاحات پیشنهادی در نظر دارد سن بازنشستگی زنان کارگر را از ۶۴ به ۶۵ سال افزایش دهد. گروه‌ها، از جمله «اعتصاب زنان اعتصاب فمینیستی»، «فدراسیون اتحادیه‌های کارگری سراسری»، «حزب کارگر سوئیس»، «حزب کمونیست سوئیس»، « جنبش جوانان حزب کارگر سوئیس / حزب کارگران و مردم»، «جوانان کمونیست» در راه‌پیمایی که با شرکت بیش از ۱۵ هزار نفر برگزار شد شرکت کردند. معترضین برنامه دولت برای افزایش سن بازنشستگی زنان را رد کردند و هم‌چنین اعلام نمودند که در نظر دارند پیرامون این موضوع به یک همه‌پرسی ملی مراجعه کنند.
