The Black Swan had kept everyone in the dark for fourteen years. Sure, they had kept Sophie Foster from the Lost Cities for twelve years, but they had another large secret that had gone on for even longer.

You see, the Black Swan had been prepared. Like with the two Forkles, the shadowy organization had a trick up its sleeve...

And it was all discovered thanks to Keefe Sencen running away to the Forbidden Cities. He winds up in Paris, France, and soon finds himself meeting none other than Adrien Agreste. However, Adrien himself has been plagued with nightmares, being haunted by places and things he doesn't know about, but yet can feel a sense of familiarity and home with the images. What's even stranger than that?

Other than Keefe, he's beginning to hear voices.

Not just physical voices.

Their mental voices.

Because the Black Swan had made a second moonlark.

Continuing right after "Unlocked," "The Second Moonlark" forces everyone to begin to question everything around them, including their own identities.

(I'm trying to channel my inner Shannon Messenger here, so yeah. Shannon, you deserve the credit for the amazing Keeper of the Lost Cities series, and Zagatoon, you get the credit for MLB!)

In this fanfic, some things are in a alternate world. The Black Swan is a very popular and troublesome rebel group and the Neverseen is loyal to the Royals. In their world, everyone lives for two reasons: To be a Royal or to serve the Royals. Fitz is a Royal, son of King Alden and Queen Della. His sister is Princess Biana. His best friend is Keefe, who has a rough childhood. His goal and dream is to be able to catch the Moonlark, the rebellious leader of the group Black Swan. The Moonlark has never been caught, even when Fitz one days comes close. He is determined to be able to catch the Moonlark before he becomes King. Sophie is the rebellious leader of the Black Swan. All her raids and plans have always been successful and she has never been caught. To everyone that is not her friends, they think the Moonlark is a tall, raven-haired, pale blue eyed male. There life changes when the future king of Enternelia and the rebellious leader of the Black Swan are chosen to become Cognates. Fitz's life starts crumbling downwards as he soon realizes that he is crushing hard on his soon to be cognate. Sophie, on the other hand, is really just worried that Fitz will find out about her. Read to see how to completely different lives are intertwined and how it changes both lives forever. How will the future king react if he found out that the rebellious leader of the Black Swan was right in front of him this whole time? What if he finds out that his whole has been a lie? This is a Sophitz/Fitzphie fanfic. I'm sorry for any Sokeefe, Taphie, or Dexphie fans! :( #1 𝔦𝔫 𝔰𝔬𝔭𝔥𝔦𝔢𝔵𝔣𝔦𝔱𝔷 #1 𝔦𝔫 𝔨𝔢𝔢𝔭𝔢𝔯s #1 𝔦𝔫 𝔉𝔦𝔱𝔷𝔙𝔞𝔠𝔨𝔢𝔯

Sophie Foster thought she was a human, lived like a human for 12 years, except she wasn't. When she was 5, she started reading other people's minds, and when she was 12, she discovered the truth. A boy found her, and took her to where she belonged, with other elves - because she is an elf too. She never was normal, and even in a place with others of her race, she still didn't quite fit in. But only a few days after her arrival in District 11 - her soon to be home, the council, the rulers of all 12 districts, were overthrown by a group called the Neverseen. And what had before been a covert way of scaring people and their faith in the council became a public tradition - once a year, two people from each district would be selected and told to fight to the death. And when Sophie's adoptive mother gets chosen, Sophie takes her place. But she never did fit in, because she isn't just an elf, she's something else. Something more. But when you have power, you have people who want to steal and destroy it. May the odds ever be in her favour... Extract: "Don't do this," Sophie whispered into her ear. She shook her head. "Mom, Dad - I love you. And I'm sorry," she said to the camera. Sophie's face was red and puffy with tears now, but she didn't care. "Let me be brave," she whispered to herself, inaudible to everyone except her. "Let me be brave, let me be brave, let me be brave." 211 in hungergames - 29.10.20 76 in hungergames- 28.12.20 Based off the bestselling Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger

Sophie Foster has been betrayed by her friends. The same elves that helped her to go through the toughest time of her life. How could they just betray her like that? Was it her fault? What was she going to do now? With millions of questions swimming inside her head, Sophie is forced to leave her friends and join new ones. During the process of doing so, Sophie discovers secrets that were meant to be forgotten, perspectives that shook the Elvin society, and new threats and dangers that nearly kills her and her friends. How was she going to solve them all? And most importantly, could she solve them all? This story takes place after Stellarlune, so expect spoilers if you haven't read it yet.
