"Pinky promise you won't leave me?" I stretch out my pinky finger towards him.
He reached out and interlocked our fingers.
"I promise Mani I won't leave u, I'll always be here for you." He said smiling softly and I smile wider at him.
Imani and Ezra had been friends since they were toddlers. They met through their parents who were business partners. Growing up they were always together, never leaving each other's side.
That was until Ezra moved suddenly to England with his family due to a new business his father had opened.
Ezra left Imani all by herself not knowing why her best friend left her and broke his promise.
10 years later they meet again unexpectedly and he was not the Ezra Imani remembers growing up with.
