Thanos was the worst thing that happened to this universe for a lot of reasons. But the fact that it created this bond between people, locking them together, may be the only semi good thing to come out of it all. Some speculate it was the soul stone's prize for letting half the universe free again. Other's say it was a curse. Peter didn't really care what it was. It intrigued him, sure. But he didn't put a lot of energy in it. He was, most of the time, happy with his life. He still had nightmares, and flashbacks of the night on Titan. Of the day he returned 5 years later. Of the time he spent in the stone. Living there. Moving on. Just to be dragged back, right into another war. Seeing Tony, lifeless and burned. He still can't wrap his mind around how he even survived that. Thank every deity out there for dr. Strange and Wanda for whatever they did.Complete

(book 1) y/n stark is really not here for this european school vacation because in this post-endgame world, she's mourning the loss of her dad. but one (1) sticky boi peter parker is just trying to be the friend he once was while also trying not to flirt too much because if she rejects him (which she wouldn't, not that he knows that) while they're in venice holy hell he'll just pitch himself off the gondola right then and there. basically, y/n has been distancing herself & peter misses her & this school trip is a great way for him to coax her back into the real world & y/n really loves peter but is super sensitive and scared to lose him & also mysterio shows up at some point ugh @ nick fury leave ned leeds alone *this story was written prior to avengers: infinity war & spider-man: far from home coming out. therefore, the canon in which these characters live in is different from the mcu. in this canon - tony stark, captain america, & thor have all died. black widow & vision have survived. the decimation, where half the population was snapped from existence was erased with time travel so those who were snapped came back within online minutes, leaving some residual trauma. in this canon, those who survived the decimation only lived six months without those who were snapped, but those six months have been erased - leaving only the avengers to fully remember what happened.Complete

It's been three years since the end of the Blip. After the defeat of Thanos everyone expected to begin living their lives again. But a year later Earth was invaded by an alien species called the Others. Part of a group or hive consciousness no one knows why the Others are there but they are dangerous and intent on taking control of the planet. New York has gone dark. There is no contact with Wakanda, Thor, or the Guardians of the Galaxy. The remaining Avengers have regrouped in a place called The Bunker, near the badlands of New Mexico. They do what they can to survive in the wasteland while trying to deal with the Others. Bucky Barnes went back in time to bring Steve Rogers and his wife Peggy forward to help in the fight. A series of misfortunes resulted in the death of loved ones and Barnes is still affected by the guilt. On a quick scouting trip to the Badlands Steve is alerted to an injured woman, Jade, alone and almost dead, who has been searching for the Heroes, the Avengers. She has information on how they can defeat the Others. Bucky feels a connection with this strange, ethereal, beautiful woman that draws him out of his misery. Together, with the other Avengers they formulate a plan that will save the planet. That is, until a dangerous cult from her past threatens everything. Based on MCU characters.
