Emma Swan has never really fit in with the crowd - she's the one generally deemed 'the outsider'. She has trouble making friends, trouble speaking up in class, the norm for someone like her. She keeps her walls up, never interacting long enough with anyone to form a relationship. She's never really connected with anyone...until she met Ms. Mills - her science teacher. Emma seems to have a special connection with her teacher, one she's never had with anyone before. But she knows, for sure, that nothing can ever happen between them. For one thing, it's her teacher, and teacher/student relationships draw unwanted attention. Ms. Mills is way too gorgeous to go for a lame teenager like Emma; or so she thinks. Oh, and Ms. Mills is likely straight - Emma's not.
As much as Emma tries to ignore her feelings for Ms. Mills, she's got them, and they are fighting their way to the front of her walls, pushing them down, opening her up, which has proven in the past to be a big mistake. Will opening up to Ms. Mills turn out to be a big mistake? How far will her little crush go, or will it stay just that?

Guilt

26 parts Complete

Everyone copes differently with the strong feeling of guilt. For the one person, it's drinking. Another might feel better after gambling, and someone else might find joy in sleeping with people and not dealing with the consequences. For Emma Swan, the last one was one that she tended to do a lot. She prefers purely physical contact over emotional bonding, but when she meets someone new and is forced to talk with her, she realizes that it isn't entirely impossible to like people she's slept with. *This is a SwanQueen fanfiction *You don't have to have watched Once Upon a Time to understand this story *This story contains mature + sexual themes, so if you don't like that, don't read it *These characters don't belong to me, they belong to Disney and ABC
