What happens when Regulus turns up on the potters doorstep in the dead of night with a bag filled with nothing but his beloved books nearly a year after his brother Sirius had run away from home never to return again.
Did James imagine how vulnerable Regulus looked when he first opened the door?
Regulus would not let this destroy him, he would rebuild and maybe someday let someone love him. He was putting all his faith in his brother and the people his brother considered to be his family.
Hopefully this would be his saving grace, maybe this would be his chance to start again.
I made James 18 in this so he is 18 in seventh year and regulus is 17 in 6th year, all the rest of the marauders are also 18 in this I have decided that they start at Hogwarts when they are 12 instead of 11, you will understand later on in the story.
Peter is also not in my story as he is a traitor that deserved a most horrible death.

I made this ages ago and honestly, I don't like it. There are some people who do like it and that's alright but for me, I don't like it. You can read it if you want. Their sixth year did not go as planned, James came out as bi, his friends weren't happy, but James wouldn't forgive them so he made them do something, after being reunited, they decided to prank the Slytherin house and ended up in a prank war between some other Slytherins. Regulus somehow gets involved and after pranking the Marauders, Sirius was pissed, he comes up with an idea that nobody, not even James could've predicted! 1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. In which regulus was never allowed to go after his brother ran away, being told he wasn't allowed ready. But finally one day his parents decide he's ready to go. The isssue with it though is he can't associate with his brother otherwise there will be consequences. Regulus knows if he doesn't follow his parents rules he could possibly lose dance forever.
