This PJO fanfic starts out before Annabeth, Luke, Grover, and (almost) Thalia got to CHB. The main character is a young girl who proves to be quite extraordinary, and that's just the problem. Her very existence breaks several ancient laws and oaths, putting the world in danger and leaving the gods to wonder what to do with her. Her life is filled with tragedy and despair, bouncing from place to place, the glimmer of hope that she'll one day find a family of her own slowly fading, until the truth about who she is starts to unravel, and she finds herself in a place beyond her wildest dreams.
