Reality isn't what we perceive it to be, often it's more twisted and dark than we can imagine. When Evangeline's mother mysteriously dies, she's sent to live with a family friend until her father returns. Everything seemed grey until she stumbles upon a letter that makes her question the reality she believed.
Mistakes are proof that we're trying but to a perfectionist TACAM agent, they're hindrances in the path to success. After another failed mission, Chance returns to his hometown only to come face to face with his childhood sweetheart: his new partner in crime.
We meet people, we lose some and sometimes we never forget them. Failure and rejection aren't in his dictionary but all that changes when he meets her. A lost locket that's all it takes for Ace to find his Cinderella.

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push.
