The only thing General Zolten Sadono knows is how to handle a gun and throw explosives at enemies. Suddenly, a woman enters his life, disrupting his normal routine of meetings, battles, and tactics.

Ratu was only supposed to help him win the war, but what he didn't realize was that she had already won his heart. The usually composed and stoic general is now so distracted that his subordinates are calling him a lovestruck fool.

Will Sadono surrender to the forbidden love that's taking hold, or will he sacrifice his heart for the sake of his duties?

The Peacekeepers: Secret War, de Puzzler_23
15 capítulos Concluída Maduro
Christian theologian and philosopher Augustine of Hippo once said, "The purpose of all war is peace". In the world we live in today, this saying is one much too true. The Great War, the Second World War, the Vietnam War... these are all examples of such a catastrophe. Which ever one is made topic for discussion, the results are still the same - millions dead, and if not, suffering the aftermath. Despite all this, the sacrifices weren't in vain, as the necessary peace was kept. However, a war rages on, and this time, it could end the world. Two secret organizations, the Peacekeepers, who makes it its mission to protect the world, and the Southpaw, who's bent on destroying it. Hiroyuki Watanabe, a fellow Peacekeeper, is part of this war. A soldier, one too young. Along with his team of brave souls, the boy endeavors to end this secret war, before it ends humanity. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's Note: This was and still is my very first story. To elaborate even further, it was also my first time writing anything at all. My original intentions were to test the waters and see how it appeals to any and every reader that comes across it. So having mentioned that, it might not even count as a 'story', it more or less can be looked at as a 'prototype' of one. For any factual inaccuracies or misrepresentation of real-world concepts and ideas, those are on me, and I apologize if ever. I myself am still learning and trying to get the hang of things. On the other hand. This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

The world bows to his will. But the moment he lays eyes on her - a girl with sunshine in her smile and storms in her eyes - something inside him shifts. She looks fragile, too soft for his brutal world. But beneath that bright, carefree façade lies a soul scarred by years of pain - a girl deprived of love, yet armed with secrets that could bring empires to their knees. When their paths collide, obsession ignites. He wants her - entirely, irrevocably. But she's not the type to be conquered. What happens when a heart that's never known warmth meets a heart that's forgotten how to feel? Will he break her... or will she unmake the king the world fears? --------------------------------------------------------------- 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒 • 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲 × 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 • 𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩 • 𝐂𝐄𝐎 (𝐌𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝) × 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 • 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 • 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧 • 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 • 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭
