A few centuries ago, the soul vampire Kleftis wreaked havoc upon American soil. The trickster Jack-o-Lantern, fed up with Kleftis's feeding frenzy, constructed a prophecy in 1970 stating that he would be defeated by five individuals born on Halloween in Roy Meadows, Arizona. So, in the summer solstice of 2010, Kleftis created an army and proceeded to kill 75,957 people in the town. But the five survived. This is their story.
