In the end, the void opened and the world was sent into an apocalypse. An existence born from the void wreaked havoc to its people, defiling their bodies. Catastrophe broke the land turning it into a wasteland. The realm of mortals and the mysterious opened to one another gathering together in darkness.

They cried, they begged and they prayed, hoping for someone or something to come take them away from their suffering. In their darkest moment, their prayers were answered but they were given an unfortunate missive from above.

Messengers of light descended to fight against the threat, calling it the Blight. The one that could save them all, the god of life, went missing and they were cast out of the Realm of Light, left to be stranded in the mortal realms. The messengers alone cannot rescue them from their fate. All would be consumed and creation will cease to be.

No god, no savior, no hope was given unto them and the light within them faded.

One person, bearing the Essence of the Cosmos, came unto them and said, "We shall make our own fate for all that has been said and done passed." He became the very first to become a vessel to a celestial being, lighting everyone's soul.

Carrying the light of dreams, the High Chief lifted the people out of the darkness and pushed away the Blight, sealing the void they came from.

For the first time, all of creation came together as one under his leadership and when peace was conducted in the realm of mortals, he disappeared never to be seen again.

His age of faith, hope and love continued on carried by those he had left behind, holding his torch many years after allowing humanity to connect to the cosmos, growing and gathering. But as the Light illuminates the vastness of the infinity, so does the Darkness loom over waiting.... adapting.

Our story begins with a runaway, dreaming the same dream he had ever since....

But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. "After I kissed you," he finishes for me, the silence following the words adds to the thickness growing in the air. _____ Wrongly accused of being a rebel conspiring against supernatural beings, whom she never thought existed outside of her world of anime fiction, a nightmare plagued Lyla becomes a wanted fugitive. she and her two young children are forced into hiding in a foreign yet beautiful world thousands of galaxies away from Earth to escape her death sentence. Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.

"I saw you and you were just standing there. I started walking towards you and you-just-just stood there." Stuttered Stiles. "I tapped on your shoulder and you turned around. You didn't answer me. You didn't even notice I was there. You just stared at something, something that wasn't visible and y-you-" Paused Stiles, whose legs were vibrating and he started to breathe heavily. "And I what?" I asked trying to get the words out. "You died." He stated. "What?" Asked I, like he had just said the most craziest thing ever. It was slightly humorous. He had to be joking, I thought to myself. "You- just died." Murmured Stiles, who had stopped shaking and had stood up. -------------- The world consists of many parallel multiverses. Each separate and unique. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny.
