War changes people, some shut down, some become paranoid that they believe their own shadow is out to get them. 

But one Azalea Nova Potter-Black hasn't know anything but war, 10 years as a slave to her relatives, 7 years in a world that had loved and despised her locked up her only parental figure that turns out to be her father, an old man is treated as a pawn in chess the world that put everything on her shoulders and now that's all over she doesn't know how to live.

So she leaves

A world that has destroyed her.
But one chance encounter and maybe war isn't so bad after all.
