Reader is instructed by Hylia to be Link's guide as he wakes up from his slumber and carries the fate of Hyrule on his shoulders.
She really figured he'd be more refined, even after being asleep for so long, but she's dismayed to find that not only does he have the manners of a cretin, but his vocal chords seemed to sustain serious damage from his battle 100 years ago.
Or in which, reader is a demigoddess and if she doesn't guide Link on his journey to defeat Ganon and save the world then Hylia will strip her of her status.

This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all?
