Reader is instructed by Hylia to be Link's guide as he wakes up from his slumber and carries the fate of Hyrule on his shoulders.
She really figured he'd be more refined, even after being asleep for so long, but she's dismayed to find that not only does he have the manners of a cretin, but his vocal chords seemed to sustain serious damage from his battle 100 years ago.
Or in which, reader is a demigoddess and if she doesn't guide Link on his journey to defeat Ganon and save the world then Hylia will strip her of her status.

Botw Reimagined
This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link.
