Set 4 years after The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 2.

Back in London to visit their friends, Ryunosuke Naruhodo and Susato Mikotoba find themselves preparing to battle Barok van Zieks in the courtroom yet again. When Naruhodo is stricken with a horrible fever, Susato is left to stand as the defense alone. Lacking confidence, she takes on the guise of the gallant and dashing Ryutaro Naruhodo in order to face the Reaper. But when she earns unexpected attention from Lord van Zieks as Ryutaro, Susato soon finds herself entangled in a strange double life and a twisted web of deception, blossoming romance,  and intense emotion.
