Specifically, moons silently observe as their respective planets gradually descend into a bleak trajectory. However, a few fortunate moons have successfully evaded the gravitational forces that bind them, liberating themselves from this predicament. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Only our solar system exhibits sanity, or at least some celestial bodies within it possess the composure to remain composed. I did a research project to explore whether The Singularity could happen sooner than expected. Like maybe RIGHT NOW? Technically speaking that turns out to be very difficult, but not impossible, if we assume a series of precise breakthroughs. The storyline depicts the last few weeks before this transition, an event more awesome than anything we can imagine. It's written as a collection of incidents and developments set in the VERY near future. Each brief chapter could be read independently. No equations are used in this version of the story. The main character is not really part of the process, but gets to witness things up close. Unfortunately, there was no way I could make him survive the events.
