Before Rift Apart, Rivet was already hailed a hero in her galaxy, despite never actually having won a fight against the Emperor. Her distrust is a huge and important part of her character we barely scratch in-game due to a good momentum of story with only sprinkles of who she is. Her canon outfit(non-armor) has a scarf to it, despite her living on acid swamp world like Sargasso. Some of this story is told from Rivet's POV, from the POV's of others, as well as just story narration. Things this story is meant to touch on: Rivet's early life before the Resistance. Rivet's reason for eventually joining the Resistance. Why Rivet wears a scarf (not really important, but details are nice..) Her distrust for robots. The loss of her arm. Why she simply refuses to give up.
