Albedo has spent long months alone in his cave without much human contact. Sure, Klee comes to visit him but often times he's found alone in his cave, Just how he prefers. That is, Until he's found running to Mondstad out of urgency. Something happened to Klee and Albedo is needed to fix her with alchemy even too confusing for him.
Kaeya, A drunken flirt, Finds himself rushed into a room to hide from guards and questions. He was with Klee, He knows what happened, Yet he chooses to keep it a secret from anyone. He lies to everyone around him just to keep the disappointed looks and comments away.
"Kaeya? What are you doing in here?" Albedo asks a simple question, and yet Kaeya is terrified. Not only terrified, But his interest has been piqued. A shadow of the old Albedo stands in front of him, Albedo's eyes dark with sleepless nights, His hair pulled up and sprouting everywhere, Clothes wrinkled, and last but not least, the endless coffee cups scattered everywhere and a very shaky hand holding a test tube.

This is a story with a happy end. A love story. There are no monsters to slay, no adventures. There are just two people falling in love. Something that happens - even to you and me. The concept of this Fanfic is to explore the idea of Alhaitham and Kaveh being together as a couple. As they are both so different they always misunderstand each other in their daily lifes. The first part is quite lore accurate and gets the introduction to Alhaithams feelings through the Traveler. The parts that follow are more loose and concentrate on the minds of Kaveh and Alhaitham. In my version Alhaitham is unintentionally romantic as Kaveh is the only person he ever loved. Kaveh on the other side is an constant overthinker always twisting Alhaitham's words to the worst interpretation so he turns out unintentionally funny. There is some mature content in this story and there are many jokes about it and indications. Still it is not graphic but rather blurry and my goal is to keep it this way.
