This book is based off of "The Hunger Games" series by Suzanne Collins. This takes place about two hundred years after the final book, "Mockingjay."
The book revolves around a 17-year-old girl names Iris Rose from District 5. When Iris is called to be tribute in the 275th Hunger Games, she does anything to survive and get back home to young Ava Lynn.

The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination.
