The Faceless Doll

"The Faceless Doll" is all that Quillan seems to see. Everything around them freezes, and all reality diminishes into darkness, enthralled by the senses of this porcelain doll with no face. When she and her girlfriend, Jayce's house burns down, the sounds of chains dragging along the ground grow ever stronger. When did it all start? Why did the house burn down? Why does Quillan see the doll and Jayce doesn't?
