What the pastors, fathers, and even the records of the Great War have been telling you is wrong.

God never created life as we know it, he never even made anything but Heaven and angels in the first place! Creation created itself and created the galaxies and worlds we live in. And in turn, magic power, then the animals, then the mortals, and finally the other gods were born from the rising beliefs of the said mortals.

But what's more, the gods and mortals weren't the first to emerge. Colossal and ageless creatures evolved long before the first mortal was born.
These creatures were fighters and defenders, hunters and the hunted. But most of all, one king and his subjects.

But all things must come to an end one day. With the changes the world is undergoing, especially the atmosphere, the monsters fell into a deep slumber. Once the mortals emerged, before their gods, all traces of the monsters' presence vanished.

That all changed when the Great War and its intense use of magic, and mostly the disturbance itself, awakened the beasts. It is they alone who ended the Great War and nearly left the three factions extinct.

Seeing the new world after their awakening and the destruction caused by the war and their act of ending it, some of the monsters all agree to use their own magic to become sacred gears and help to guide the remaining mortals to a future without such destruction. And some others wishes for more havoc and became sacred gears for that same purpose.

Godzilla, the one monster who held the title of King of the Monsters ever since he fought for it, chose you as his first host centuries later.
You are Gael Hudson, a transfer student to Kuoh High and your life has just begun. Will you and your new partner rock the three factions for the better or for the worse?
