She have always lived in a small town by the sea. A peaceful life, out of harm's way. That changed after one day she received bad news - news that would turn everything upside down. The ship she tried to run away with turned out to be the ship of the infamous Captain Hook. Without a better idea on hand, she decided to disguise herself and join the crew.
A/N: Reader insert - reader has no physical attributes mentioned, but she has detailed backstory and the story follows her journey more than it follows Hook's. Includes several OC characters. It doesn't follow the events of OUAT at all, so if this is not your cup of tea, just a heads up.
