I just wanted to be an adventurer, not the gods-dammed dragonborn.
This started as a writing and english exercise that goes hand in hand with my latest skyrim playthrough, i hope i can cover the whole game in this manner, but i don't know if i'll be able. Fingers crossed.

The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. His Harbinger
Vilkas x Dragonborn fan fiction Originally titled "You Don't Have to Save The World Alone, Harbinger," but that was long and a little ridiculous. My most recent Skyrim play-through, personal character idea (female nord Dragonborn) and a few head-cannons that went with it. Dragonborn knows she's the Dragonborn and many other things about Skyrim. Companions quest-line, civil war quest-line, and main story quest-line (consider this a spoiler warning!) Mostly from Vilkas's point of view and the Dragonborn's point of view. And of course as this is a fan-fiction, the only character that is mine is my specific version of the Dragonborn, everyone else belongs to Bethesda. A portion of the dialogue comes directly from the game as well. Also, no smut, but there will be some strongly suggestive occasions so I marked it "mature". Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak.
