"So...," she grinned, lips a cracked palette of pale pink. Her chipped nails tapped against the counter, a steady thrum he could barely hear over the loud music blasting from the speakers.
He ran his eyes over her small form. Her yellow sundress hung loose and there were a few questionable stains that looked suspiciously like ketchup. She was certainly out of place, he mentally remarked, furrowing his brows as her smile widened.
She had been waiting for a while for him to look her way, and now that she had his attention, there was only one thing she wanted to say. "What's your name, dollface?"
