Decades after the Battle of Hogwarts, a new professor steps into the school.
Primrose Pontmercy, once a student in the school herself, is eager to return to Hogwarts as the new potions professor. But when two first-years begin to show exemplary skills, Primrose grows suspicious.
With the help of Neville Longbottom, a fellow professor, Primrose begins to investigate the source of her students' potion-making abilities. Much to her surprise, the answer traces back to the potions professor from her years as a student- Severus Snape.
