What she finds is a galaxy full of trouble - dangerous astral phenomena, hostile aliens, strange tech, and a charmingly handsome Pathfinder. Mira finds herself on the Pathfinder's team as their medic, trying to keep them in one piece while they fight to make the Heleus cluster of Andromeda their new home, and trying to fight her growing affection for the Pathfinder himself.
