Every year, the postcard is sent out to every American household with a chance to win a handsome sum of cash. Everyone knows that cursive, black M, inviting you to win something extraordinary. But despite it's fatality rate and the amount of annual bloodshed, never has the organization feared closure due to the bribery of the United States government.

There have never been any rules to the sadistic organization of murderous games, but everyone, players and guards included, have established three personal rules of their own. First, do not trust anyone entirely. Second, be prepared to betray those you favor. Last, and certainly not least, never fall in love. 

Not everyone can abide by those rules.
