While investigating the League of Villains, Hawks finds himself entangled in the life of a mysterious young woman, Ierie Sano, who is seeking protection from a gang called the Ivory Brotherhood. In exchange for information, Hawks gets her into government protection, where they somehow end up living together. But Ierie doesn't like Hawks. 

The two are natural born enemies, avoiding each other at all costs. That is, until the Hero Public Safety Commission asks that Ierie use her status as a gang member to infiltrate the League of Villains, gain their trust, and report back with important intel. 

Now, Hawks and Ierie must live together still, but this time within the League of Villains. To their surprise, Hawks and Ierie find themselves wildly attracted to each other, but their entanglement with villains has complicated things. And Ierie is in more danger than ever before.
