Era has been a slave in the Bergan Forest Camp since she was 9. She has had to clear the forests that had taken over the earth many years ago. She is immediately intrigued by the new arrival, a slave named Natatilion. He is 18, the oldest slave ever brought in and knows a lot about the history of their world. He also knew his parents, something no one else in the camp can say. Can Era find out what happened to the world and her parents? Can she free herself and the other slaves?
