After the sudden death of her parents, Alba Aldana has no choice but to put an end to her homeschooling and continue her studies at Hogwarts. She deems it's best to embody the complete opposite of what she is, in fear of being unable to make friends and being labeled as 'weak and unlovable'. Throughout her time at school, she hides her grief with a 'rich girl' facade, and attempts to push away her past and block her emotions, desperately wanting to have a fresh start in life.
Music and journaling are some of the few things that keep Alba sane and in character--that is, until she meets a certain Professor. Gradually, her walls and guard start to melt for and only him.

I'm doing a little rewrite of this story. As much as I enjoy this story, some parts didn't sit well with me as originally written, so I'm doing some changes. I apologize for any inconsistencies in the interim. Enjoy. Professor Severus Snape Romance (mature) and Hogwarts adventure. What if JK Rowling's story of a School of witches and wizards was her first hand account from her own experience in the Ether Realm? Now it's my turn to take my place in that realm... which is one of many different realms accessible through the Threshold. I was chosen for a reason... one of the relatively few to be selected to cross into the Hogwarts Realm. I could live a whole life there, and then return as if nothing happened, at least it would seem to those in my reality. The challenge??? If it's real, then my mission isn't one to be taken lightly, as there are only a limited number of Occasions, and they are real to the Etherworlders... as real as our own reality. How can I let them down knowing that? How can I let 'him' down? He would only have so many chances at a happy ending... and I am bound and determined to be the one who makes that happen. Or maybe I'm just an optimist. What if Professor Snape doesn't even notice me? That doesn't matter. I will still try to save his life. Even if it breaks my heart. This is just a fun take on a fantasy. I haven't actually fantasized this, yet, so I'm just writing it as I do so:). There may even be a 'guest star', but I don't want to give it away too soon:). I do not own the rights to Harry Potter and its characters. JK Rowling is not a true part of this story, and I include her as a character of this fantasy world. Alan Rickman as well. Although I do appreciate each of these people tremendously. I'm not sure of the direction of this story, but I will warn you that it will probably have some smut. Severus Snape A Soul Undiminished
This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. I always appreciate it when people purchase it, but you are more than welcome to read it here. If you do buy one, please leave me a rating/comment. It's under my pen name Robin Ray on Amazon. I reposted it here for everyone to read, but I think it's also nice to read in paper book form. I buy one for myself every Christmas and end up gifting it:)I really felt inspired to write it, and as strange as it sounds, I felt that Alan Rickman helped guide me along the way. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book.
