"Alakai! What did you do!" Tanda screams. "I didn't do anything-!" A bright light pierces everyone's eyes, blinding them. A gust of wind slammed the gang into the ground, hair and clothes whipping ferociously as everyone struggled to get to their feet. Cries and grunts could be heard over the wind. But suddenly, their hands and feet were off the ground. A strange tugging sensation, pulling them towards the object, which now was slowly turning into a portal. Alakai tried with all his might to pull against the restraint but fell through first. "Alakai!" Aramina screamed for her friend. Panicked, Aramina turned and reached out her hand to Tanda. They thrashed against the intense pull, trying to grasp one another. And with one last effort, Aramina pushed an inch and Tanda gripped her hand as they went through together. ~~ Alakai, Tanda and Aramina weren't expecting to battle an army on The Great Hills. Or to enter a nearby cave for safety. Or for Alakai to touch the glowing crystal in the middle. Well... actually they didn't expect anything less from him. That same crystal turned out to be a time-travelling portal. And now they are trapped in the future. This isn't their world, far from it. Blue lights and fast-moving objects are called 'vehicles'. And tall structures called 'buildings'. And half-human/half-metal creatures called 'cyborgs'. No castles, no open plains and no way back.
