Eurasian rwby crossover

Someone asked about a crossover between my OC continent of Eurasia and rwby
Btw I'm using modern 2020 Eurasian continent
So basically the story goes like this:

The Eurasian continent which itself have been in peace for 58 years when excluding all the minor wars between non major Eurasian countries since the great Eurasian civil war which had claimed 1/3rd of the continent population during the war which was 9 billion.

The sudden earthquakes spread across the continent, the damages were minor and communication outside the continent was lost, they were surrounded by islands that wasn't there before from both sides(basically I created a vast body of water for the entire continent to fit in due to it size being twice of asia). The sudden transportation resulted in the military preforming expedition on the islands.

Will the inhabitants of 400 million of remnants( I give the world of remnants 400 million due to most people speculating the world population was roughly 300-500 million)welcome the 10 billion new comers from another world, or will there be war?
