"روبین سفراستیان، مدیر «مؤسسه مطالعات شرقی آکادمی علوم ارمنستان» می‌گوید:
«ایران درک می‌کند که ایجاد دالان، آن‌را از دسترسی به بازارهای خارجی، به ویژه به بازارهای اروپایی، از طريق قلمرو ترکیه و آذربایجان محروم می‌سازد. علاوه بر این، در بستر تلاش‌های فعال برای ایجاد دالان ترانزیت خلیج فارس - دریای سیاه، طبیعی است که تهران نخواهد حتا به صحبت درباره «دالان زنگزور» گوش بدهد. رفتار تهاجی دو تیم آنکارا و باکو یک تهدید برای پروژه‌های ایران بشمار می‌آید."
