When Amrita decides to have her memory genetically improved, she hopes for a better life but as she starts to dream she soon realises that these dreams are memories of something sinister that happened when she was younger and, so, with the help of her new girlfriend, Dana, she pieces together her past and discovers truths more horrific than she'd ever imagined.

A Better Version of Me centres on Amrita, a lonely and troubled girl, who only has her mum as a friend.  Having spent her teenage years struggling at school, being subjected to bullying and not making friendships, she hopes that by having her memory genetically improved, she will be able to lead a more fulfilling life.
