I send him a small smile as I pull my jersey off and hand it to Mia to hold so it doesn't get in my way. I pull my hair back so it's not in my face either. "I'm signing that jersey when your done and giving you one of mine," I hear from the Red Sox side and I see Xander looking at me. "Maybe a phone number," he asks.
"Maybe Xander, we'll see," I say as I look for a bat. I start looking for a Louisville but I can't find one. "Does anyone here use Louisville or am I stuck using a Rawlings or an Easton? And does someone have batting gloves?"
"I use Louisville. Here you can use it and my gloves," A tall, handsome man offers with a smile. I couldn't help but blush after catching him looking at me. I noticed the Brewers uniform on him but I ignore and accept the bat. "Thanks. I'm Meg by the way."
"Christian. Good luck and don't suck."
I smile at him, "That's the goal." I get my head in it. I get set in the batters box and keep my eye on the ball as it comes in from a higher angle then used to but I adjust pretty quickly. I start sending the ball deep to right field every time sending it into the bullpen or into the bleachers. I adjust my feet to pull the ball a few times and hit it over the Green Monster. Both teams come out of their dugouts to watch me hit in awe and disbelief.

I felt his hand as it gently pushed the strands of hair that were blocking his view of my face, behind my shoulder. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me.
