Lucas and his family work non stop to care for his mother and pay for the expensive medical treatments she requires. He and his father both work two jobs, while his younger siblings take care of the house. It isn't a perfect life for a high school senior, but that is what you do for your family. But what happens when the prettiest girl in school starts noticing you as you're mowing their yard? Or when she starts coming out when you're done for secret kisses? Why does she look so happy when she's watching him, but miserable when she meets him? Can he unravel the secrets of this young woman? And if so, how will it impact the rest of his life?

Not all werewolves live in packs. Sometimes, they're a part of a family that has no idea how to cope with the changes. Maybe they just need to find the key to unlocking their cage.
