For centuries, it has been the same between the Black Creek Pack and the Oval Moon Pack. Hatred rooted so deep that the smallest of incidents among their wolves could lead to many lost lives and senseless blood loss. For as long as anyone can remember, and as far as the history books date, neither pack has been able to land on top, and the battle for dominance has only gotten more violent.
As civilization began to blossom, the wolves knew they could not continue their war without exposing the supernatural to the rest of the world, so a delicate treaty was signed. Both packs would sacrifice a small patch of land bordering each other, this small neutral ground would be uses to expose the most valuable, the firstborn of the Alpha, asset of each pack as a sign of good faith.
Good faith is the last thing Lilia Lawson would call it. To her it comes closer to torture, since for as long as she can remember she was forced to spend her days being tormented by none other than Ashe Morrison. Every fiber of her being hates Ashe, and she has been counting down the days until she finds her mate and graduates. He will become her Alpha and she will become his Luna, together they will take over from her parents and guide the Black Creek pack into the future.
Ashe Morrison, also known as Baby Alpha to the warriors of the Oval Moon pack. Not because there is anything 'Baby' about her, if anything she Chaos Alpha would be better suited. Even if she hasn't bonded with her wolf yet, she can still take down half the pack worries, and proudly carries the burden of fighting for and alongside them. Yes, she loves causing trouble, yes she likes bending the rules, and yes she gets a particular kick out of annoying Lilia Lawson. But for anyone willing to look a bit deeper, it becomes clear that there is a pattern to her madness.
What happens when Ashe finally turns eighteen, and she finds that the spirits have decided to play a sadistic joke when picking out her mate.

I thought about all the obstacles I had to overcome to get to where I am today as I walked towards my sons crib. Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son.
Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba...
Will the angel given to him melt the Alphas ice solid façade or not? Is she helping him escape his darkness or is she dragging him into hers? Read to find out...
