Dumping Grounds
The Dumping Grounds is about a world where the species that inhabitant it had nearly came to extinction at one time. They had suffered with a virus that plague their world for years before they found a cure for it. In order to save themselves from extinction they genetically created more of their species. The Reproduction of the species had become out of control when they start breeding on their own. Now this world is overpopulated with billions of these generic species and they are still producing. They call them the nothings. The nothing's had nothing but the leftovers from the rich. They live on the grounds of the old cities of ruins. The rich which are the private live high above in the luxury glass-built skyscrapers. These nothings became a burden to the private and It was overwhelming on the council which governs them. As the population of this species multiply the planet was starting to run out of resources and living space.

The Final Hope.
A Nuclear Apocalyspe is usually the time full of death until one or two are left in order to recreate the world right? Until the major clean up in only two districts unlike the west and east, that have parrished away...the north and south district remain standing. Christina, a mother and once engaged, left her district in order to find a life for her and her son. Yet she finds the northern district, but finds out that the district that is most advance does have it's secrets. Meeting one man in the process, finding a family of her own and beginning the life she is left to, the final hope.
The Shelter
No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The Solace Chronicles
Not so long ago, humanity fought the gods above them. The war against the Ethereals was long and bloody, and only the discovery of magic saved humanity from total annihilation. With the fusion of magic and technology, they clawed their way to a stalemate; in time, the war was over. Humanity had secured their freedom...or so they thought. The Ethereal War changed life on Earth forever. The world is now plagued by glyphstorms-- constant, magic-infused dust storms that drive those who linger too long to insanity. Traveling within them is thought to be impossible, and the only shelter comes in the form of magical shield domes over humanity's cities. Progress is rapid, yet isolated to pockets of civilization. In the same world where some people thrive, many others struggle, their spirits kept alive only by the hope of a better future. But the future is uncertain; until humanity can discover the secrets of shield tech and brave the storms that divide them, they will never be truly free. ------- This is a collection of short stories that take place within Solace, a fictional science-fantasy setting I have been working on since January 2025. This is not the mainline story, but may involve side plots, alternate perspectives of story events, etc. Basically this is my way of getting back into writing on Wattpad and having a catch-all for any short stories related to Solace. The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. We follow the story of Mado X a survivor who escaped his underground safe house which was last called "the quarantine" because of all the diseases that occurred when their self powering generator stopped working. The story is set on post-apocalyptic Earth. A hundred years ago, the "X virus" broke out. Transmitted through liquids and gases, it had an extremely high mortality rate and quickly infected nearly all life on Earth. The human population plummeted from 7 billion to 3 billion, but those who survived discovered their bodies evolving, becoming faster, taller, and stronger. Tragically, animals also began to evolve, becoming even more powerful than humans. Bullets couldn't penetrate their armor, and even nuclear bombs couldn't threaten high-level monsters. With modern technology practically useless, warriors rose to prominence. Through training, these warriors mastered immense powers, allowing them to battle monsters tens or even hundreds of feet tall. Humanity lost all its oceans and islands, including Australia. Ultimately, only five nations remained: these five great powers formed humanity's 23 base cities. Decades passed, and it wasn't until the rise of the protagonist, Zorro, that the balance between humanity and monsters was finally broken.
