Aaralynn let out a soft breath as the light faded, taking their shadows with it.
A small crack, followed by a spark and then a small flame rested on the palm of the stranger's hand. The light of the flame was only bright enough to cast a burnt orange glow across their faces. He knew that her light show had attracted the attention of anyone within a fifty, maybe even one-hundred, foot radius.
"Looks like you're a Cursed One, princess," He said with a serious expression, the flame growing as the sound of heavy boots on cobblestone grew closer.
