Home For The Summer ~ A DreamNotFound FanFic
My first finished book. Inspired by the song Home For The Summer by Sara Kays. This book contains strong language and has a few smut chapters, you can easily skip those if you want as I made sure they don't contain important information about the story :) Clay and George used to be inseparable, but when Clay had to leave the town they had both grown up in together, their friendship slowly faded away. Now, years later, they still hadn't forgotten about each other but were both too scared to reach out to one another. That was, until Clay decided to come home for the summer, going back to the town the two of them had made so many memories in, in the hopes of finding George. ✰ dreamnotfound. (COMPLETED) ✰ George has always had a fascination with the mysterious Dream's work. Paintings line his home signed by Dream, and he even runs a blog on his work in his spare time. Clay is the masked Dream, afraid of the world. He paints pictures of emotions he longs to feel - love, happiness, as well as emotions he feels too often - fear, sadness, and anxiety. He never showed his face when painting to escape the media. Everything was as fine as it could be, until Clay meets the bright and enthusiastic George, who pulls him into the world to show him emotions he had only painted. George painted Clay's world with emotions he had never felt before. If only George knew Clay was the one behind the mask. ✰ usual disclaimers apply :) - tw: alcohol use in a later chapter, there is a warning before the chapter :). there is also a depressive tone used in relation to one of the characters. - rated mature for language! - NOTE: the name switches from clay to dream are IMPORTANT and on purpose. :) - words: 21,018 - started: 8/21/20 - completed: 8/29/20 ✰ MILESTONES! :D #1 dreamnotfound 11/19/20 1K reads - 10/13/20 100 votes- 10/14/20 2K reads - 11/4/20 200 votes - 11/4/20 3K reads - 11/14/20 300 votes - 11/9/20 4K reads - 11/19/20 400 votes - 11/19/20 5K reads - 11/20/20 500 votes- 11/21/20 10K reads - 12/10/20 1K votes- 12/31/20 20K reads - 2/27/21Complete
