Welcome to part one of my first book, Under a Concrete Sky. In this part, follow Kira and her roommate, Jaime, as they survive the first attack of World War III. Jaime was a sheltered child; raised on a secluded farm in rural Scotland, he knew only what his parents taught him. Kira was quite the opposite. Abandoned at birth by her mother in Bryansk, Russia, Kira was adopted by an American family that treated her and her adopted siblings poorly. After moving back to Russia in her teens, she joined the military under a false identity and became one of the first Russian soldiers trained in counter-Navy Seals tactics. When the project was cancelled, she abandoned her post and came back to the U.S. to regain her former identity and live a good life. Unfortunately, that "good life" she had always wanted wasn't what awaited her. I will try to post each chapter less than two weeks apart so you never have to wait too long, but feel free to leave comments asking for more! Sometimes I'll post extras or sneak-peaks under another title on my page, don't forget to check there! Oh, and feel free to point out any typos! I don't have an editor and sometimes I miss things, haha. Trigger Warning: this title contains graphic violence. All Rights Reserved
