Aisling lives in a futuristic world where war is all but extinct and peace prevails ;The government is the reason why. This world they have created is the Star Planet, filled with scientific innovations and order. The population is classified into two different groups. the best are the starlings; they're the ones who have been scientifically mutated by generation in hopes of discovering the superior race. The middle class are called the normlings, those who don't process any supernatural mutations, they are thought of poorly in regards to the social hierarchy. Aisling in her great fortune was born a starling and has reached the peak age of 17. At 17, the government marries you off to someone of the same social class for reproducing purposes and then trains you for the job linking to the supernatural ability you possess. The only problem is, Aisling is in love with another. Starlings is filled with choices, love and betrayal.
