It's colder then I remember it, dark as an abyss but I stop being afraid of the dark along time ago.

Shadows curl around me and I allow myself the split second of hope. Allowing myself to wish for the male I can not have.

His voice is a distant memory but also clear as day in this dark and musky hole.

"We will be friends." His voice is relaxed but firm. Lulling me away into memories with his deep vibrato.

"Friends?" I croak, confusion lacing my voice.

"People who are nice to each other occasionally spend time together." Azriel deadpans.

"I know what friends are." I snap back, not able to hold back the bite in my words. Some way to start a friendship.

He chuckles despite my tone, the dark alluring sound wrapping around my spine. I look away from him.

"Well, you don't seem to have any."

I don't realize the tears have fallen until they have drenched my cheeks. I curl deeper into myself, wishing those memories wouldn't haunt me. I replay the moment over and over in my head. Weaving it into my very being, my sanity. With darkness threading around me I list all the reasons he couldn't love me.

Even if I could get out of this hell, those memories are all I have. I wouldn't forgive me either.

|| Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. When a witch appears on her door step, the last thing she would of expected was to be cursed to another year, before she ever existed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a seperate novella spinoff of the acotar series. (DON'T NEED TO READ SERIES IN ORDER TO READ THIS BUT WILL HELP GREATLY IN UNDERSTANDING SOME SETTINGS, REFERENCES AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENTS)

TW: this book will deal with triggering topics. If you are easily triggered this is not the story for you, thanks. (Book one in the Starlight series) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── Danika Archeron was born in the shadows. Always looking over her shoulder when her family wasn't looking. She was their protector even if they didn't know it. She had been training as an assassin and warrior since she was eight years old, and yet her family had never suspected a thing. What will Danika do when she's spirited away to Prythian with her little sister, surrounded by the creatures she'd been training to kill for as long as she could remember? ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── I cut him off my smile unfaltering, "Think before you speak, the last male who didn't lost more than just his tongue." I know both High Fae caught the wording of male, instead of man when their eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch. "Is that a threat?" Hissy asked. "No," I replied, "It's advice." ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── (Also!! just an FYI Danika is largely inspired by Manon Blackbeak, so that's why I used some of her fanart and such. I also might include some of Manon's abilities like her nails, cause I feel like that would be fun. ) ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── ACOTAR fanfic- OC x Rhysand This book will finish ACOTAR and the next book will be ACOMAF ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ─── DISCLAIMER: All characters go to Sarah J. Maas, aside from my OC's And lastly! I have a tiktok acc for this book and other stuff so if you want more stuff like this my user is: @urwritergurl_wp ─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

Two hundred years ago Rhysand lost his mother and sister in a grueling murder. But what if that sister had survived? What if the head in that box was just a tree-stump, transformed to look exactly like her? What if she had instead been sold for her knowledge on the mysterious Night Court? And what if that sister would now, just a few years after the war, find her way back, but with agendas of her own? ****************************************************************************** "Alright, oh wise one, my need for wisdom has run out now, so you can be on your way now" I waved my hand. "That's cold" Rhys put a hand over his heart, " I thought we were having a big-bro-little-sis talk here." I rolled my eyes, but he slid an arm around my shoulder: "We both already know what you'll do anyway." "Oh, we do, is that right?" He nodded: "You always been so predictable, if you would write murder-mysteries everyone would know from the beginning who killed the victim." "That's weirdly specific, how long have you been sitting on that one?" I snorted. "Since you insulted my taste in art" he sniffed theatrically. I laughed: "You are one petty High Lord." "I don't even know what to say to that insolence" he shook his head.
