Elodie is the perfect Wife. She's loyal, obedient, she tolerates the Handmaid's, and she complete's her wifely duties. But there is something terribly empty about her life, and she longs for something more, though she doesn't quite know what.
And then she meets Ava, the kind, soft spoken Martha that her husband just hired. Elodie finds herself draw to the woman, and they quickly become friends, and then Elodie does something much more dangerous. She falls in love.
Caught up in the dangerous world of the Handmaid's Tale, where eyes are watching from friendly faces and there is a wall lined with corpses, Elodie must put her position as a high ranking Wife at risk for the chance of a life that really means something.
(**this was an old school project, the assignment was to write something about the Handmaid's Tale, and I created this story. I found it and decided to polish it up, it got a little longer, whoops. Enjoy**)
