The Independence Walk

A short story inspired by the October 20, 2020 events in Nigeria. This is in remembrance of everyone who lost their lives fighting for a better Nigeria, and for everyone who has been a victim of police brutality in Nigeria, or a victim of any of the side effects of being Nigerian. This is also for anyone who has lost a family member, relative, friend or loved one to Nigeria.

Story Summary:
A celebration night with friends goes wrong for Shina and his girlfriend when the police stop them on their way back.
