It's the year 2059 and twenty-year-old, Marina is accustomed to tragedy. A week after her eighteenth birthday her parents were killed and now a power-hungry madman is after her and her siblings. After two years of running, she hides in a condo with her siblings. However, what she doesn't know is that this condo will change her life forever. An antique wardrobe opens a portal and pulls her back in time. Along the way, she meets new allies and enemies, encounters another war, and discovers a secret. Will Marina be able to find her way back to her siblings in her own time? Or will she remain in 1898 with the dark eyed man that infuriates yet intrigues her?

Despite the absentee baby daddy, she's going to fill her son's world with all the love, time, attention and security that she missed out on as a young child. Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way.
