The tragedy of Park Joong-gil and Koo Ryeon. Its impact on both had lasted over hundred years. In the drama, many were untold, especially Hades. He was influential, yet terribly minimized in the drama. This story is created to fill the gaps, especially those about the development of their relationship after Jade Empress brought Ryeon to work under Park Joong- gil at Jumadeung. There are phrases in the relationship: At a distance.. Getting closer.. Hatre... Confusion. This story is named "Metamorphosis", wishing their lives could grow beautifully. I wrote this play for a man. Our long-distance relationship seemed like Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. The story is based on the original Shakespearean work, but I tried to make it deeper to capture and cherish all of the moments we shared together. The play is full of metaphors, so don't take everything literally. Mostly, it is about my insecurities regarding the long-distance aspect, and the play actually came before we were able to see each other in real life. He wanted to see my poems, but I gave him something more precious-the most precious gift I was ever able to give.Complete
